The project was to modernise and increase the size of a 3 bedroom 1950's detached house set in in a beautiful part of Surrey.

The main objectives were to (1) increase the number of bedrooms to four or more; (2) improve how the house was used and related to its large rear garden and (3) enlarge it from 100sq m to 250sq m, whilst minimising changes to its front elevation and presence on the street.
